When you look in the mirror, what do you see?
-
An irritable and impatient stranger who regularly snaps and shouts at the people she loves
-
Someone who hasn't had a good nights sleep in far too long
-
Skin break outs and weight gain
-
A lack of energy and whatever the opposite of a healthy glow is
-
Tension, headaches and other aches and pains
-
Worry, anxiety and guilt, a fear of letting everyone down if you drop the ball
It's not you! These are all classic symptoms of stress. And with so much on your plate, is it any wonder?
Don't worry. We can help.
How does it work?
Have you ever been painting, cooking, singing, dancing, reading... and been so completely absorbed in that activity that you don't even notice that any time has passed? Then you've experienced a state of trance or flow that is very similar to the state we can achieve through hypnotherapy, meditation and mindfulness. And when we are in that state we have a direct connection to the subconscious mind, that is the oldest, wisest part of ourselves, and we can make deep changes that can transform our lives for the better.
Who is it for?
Our slow and gentle signature method and caring approach works equally well for adults, children and teens.
As the great Dave Elman said "all hypnosis is self-hypnosis". Researchers estimate that 95% of people are able to enter some form of trance state in order to be able to do this inner work, but crucially the client has to fully consent to the process. For this reason our work with children and young adults tends to focus more on meditative art and movement and guided visualisation rather than deeper hypnotherapy techniques.
